Both inpatient and outpatient drug rehab models have shown excellent results in the attainment of this goal, but most research so far has found that inpatient has the edge on outpatient treatment.

It entirely depends on how the patient is. If you believe that the patient will be compliant and self-motivated, the outpatient setting is a lot better simply because they won’t have to deal with readjusting after being hospitalized. On the other hand, if you have a patient that you know is not compliant with their rehab regiment or is psychotic, inpatient would be the only option.
As you can see the inpatient role is the best because they have you right there and can deal with you better. It’s a closer contact and they can get a better hand on your problems. They don’t have to worry about the time limit or wondering if your coming back.
outpatient i think cause its the opposite of inpatient so if its on rehab he will have patience enough to compose himself in such desires and hell be okay in waiting hell he completely recovered
It will depend on what you need.
If you need to detox then a stay in would be best.
But let’s say you’re an addict in the sense of you can’t live without a drink or smoke or whatever at night (as opposed to a binge drinker or someone who goes overboard) or you have detoxed already then a day program may be most suitable…
The best models are not out there until the FDA admits it’s involvement with the pharmaceutical industry who told your friend to eat the definitions of what causes addictive behavior in gluten proteins combined with high fructose sweeteners which cause these addictive pathways to be permanently formed.
You should have you friend genetically tested for gluten intolerance and not celiac disease. You doctor will tell you innaccurate procedures that are known less than 60% accurate. I failed both USA procedures and only the genetic test saved my life for less than $ 200!
