People who are addicted to drugs are already in prison. they’re trapped in
their own minds and their own emotional pain. what they need is help, not
to be put into another, physical prison.?
War on drugs = New Jim Crow?
Arrest people who cause harm to anyone else, but if you do drugs then why
arrest that person? Drug addicts don’t really cause harm to anyone else and
most do it for a reason cause they couldn’t escape the life style they had
so drugs was something they used. If I saw a drug addict on the street I’d
talk to him and try make him feel better about himself because at the end
of the day he/she is still a human being who you should respect. Why arrest
drug addicts and ruin their lives knowing that you can help them? The war
on drugs isn’t a war on drugs because it’s a failure it’s a war on the
people who take the drugs. But where is this going? Prohibiting a product
causes more violence and it don’t reduce the amount of people who still
commit the crime. ?
