Question by The Hitman: How should the girl in my story find out about her boyfriends drug addiction?
This guy and girl are dating. He secretly has been addicted to drugs for years. But one of his friends told her about his addiction. She confronts him about it and he promises her he will stop. After a few months she thinks he has stopped taking drugs for good. But in reality he does it when she is not around. Anyway, I need a good part in where she finds out that he has not quit. They’re also engaged to be married and she just found out she’s pregnant.

She comes home early to find bf in the kitchen and some tough looking dudes about to smash him because he owes money to the drug lord Adrian who doesn’t like to be kept waiting.
However if she is dating a guy who is on drugs then she would know he is still taking drugs by the smell, actions, speech, and temperament of that person.

Anyway some realistic ways would be to find the drug stash or if he’s injecting find old needles or see the needle holes in his arms or simply walk in and catch him in the act
