Has Anyone Have an Idea Where Either Pres. Candidate Stands on Marijuana Legalization?

Question by 95Batman: Has anyone have an idea where either Pres. candidate stands on marijuana legalization?
The VPs are an area of interest obviously. Does anyone know of any voting or legislation by any of these four politicians? Also, what is your personal take on marijuana law reform (should it ever be legalized, will it ever be legalized and when do you think the laws could change)?
I noticed there are a lot of imbeciles replying that it’s not an issue. Any issue is relevant if citizens are concerned about them. Please just don’t respond if your comment is of the “not an issue” variety. Thank you.

Obama don’t want to bring it up, he would lose the college vote, possibly the San Fran, San D, L.Ang.votes too! PLEASE SOMEONE ASK OBAMA ABOUT THE DRUGS?.

  • I GAVE THE STARS BACK I felt bad says:

    They are both against it.

    I am a member of NORML…. That’s how I feel.

It should have never been made illegal to begin with.

    Prohibition DOES NOT work.

  • Chuck G says:

Is marijuana legalization a relevant issue?

  • Sarcastic Dank says:

IF WEED WAS LEGALIZED, THEY WOULD PUT NICOTINE AND CRAP INTO IT.. IT WOULDN’T BE AS EXCLUSIVE, IT’D SUCK. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CAN’T REGULATE IT SO THEY WILL NEVER LEGALIZE IT.. SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS LOCK, im high. i have a prop 215 cannabis medicinal recommendation and thats the way i like it… legal, but exclusive =D (plus i get the whole amsterdam experience saving me 1000s, on an international trip)

  • Leftwing koolaid stops here says:

With everything going on now, that is a subject not even in the top ten. However, I doubt seriously either candidate is publicly going to endorse it.

  • TyranusXX says:

    They are all against it.

I am for it. And it might be made legal in 100 years

  • Krista says:

Neither of them want it legalized, and if it WERE to be a debate on capital hill anymore it would be whether or not to offer it more broadly for sick people. Not to get you stoned.

  • Anna D says:

I think McCain is all for it – he would be sitting on the steps of the White House smoking a doobie the day the legalization passed.

    Okay, just kidding.

I believe that marijuana should be legalized and taxed, just like the other drugs our government sells to us. There should be a legal age to buy it. The marijuana plant can be used to produce so much, we should not waste the resource!

I believe that I will see marijuana legalization in my lifetime (I’m 22), but probably not until I’m at least in my 50’s.

  • mark_tidman says:

Well the Black Separatist Barack Hussein 0bama was a regular abuser of marijuana, among other illegal substances, and he shows no remorse for his illegal actions.

  • Pax says:

I don’t know where they stand, but honestly…I can’t see them legalizing it because they’re (the government) is making more money keeping it on the streets as an illegal drug. Although if they imposed a tax, such as they do on cigarettes and it be sold like alcohol, 21 and over…they could yield quite a bit, but is it ever enough for the government???

  • Nick says:

Only a pothead, oblivious to the unprecedented issues that are facing our Country would be worried about the legalization of cancer sticks.

  • HD says:

not an issue anymore, doesn’t matter because marijuana will never be legalized. sorry.

  • Scanner says:

I don’t smoke pot. I can’t stand the stuff. But I absolutely strongly feel it should be legalized and regulated in order to create jobs and stop the criminal convictions that are occurring because of it. It is not likely to be legalized anytime soon because of it’s stigma as an evil herb that causes young men to rape young women. Not going to happen anytime soon, but eventually it probably will. I hope it does it will solve a lot of problems.

Keep that stuff away from me please. I hate pot it makes me puke just smelling it. But I feel it should be made legal.
