  • Judy White says:

  • skankilla says:

This host is a disrespectful prick! I couldnt beleive his smug cocky
attitude towards Dr Matte. I dont understand how a peice of shit like that
gets to even speak about this issue, if I ever see this guy ill be sure to
kick his plastic head off his shoulders.?

  • John Poteet says:

He’s claiming the linkages leading to addiction are created in early
childhood due to abuse/neglect. Interesting and worth a listen.?

  • Leslie Leipard says:

Fascinating link with psychology and physiology and human health science. I
thank a friend to introducing me to this man. ?

I simply love the intelligence, the compassion and the deep understanding
that this man has ~Dr. Gabor Mate. Google up on him and learn from him,
especially if you are into recovery from one forms of addiction or another
or someone you love is suffering.

@wanderliscious How about the distinction between behaviour versus person
engaged? I do, however, agree that what’s going on now is obviously not
every effective but what practically suggestions can we provide for the
rigid legal and policing systems at the moment? Don’t forget, it’ll
probably take about 10 years even for well-supported science to get
    legislated.

    His word runs deep

  • Chipbreak says:

Wow this is fantastic — I know a lot of gamlbers that have terrible
    childhoods.

  • Dante M. says:

In the beginning of the video dr. mate gives the man the death stare.

  • JFM135 says:

Outstanding. It was interesting to see the interviewer trot out ALL the
standard arguments so quickly. I think there are about five of these held
in society…he had them all. None of them hold any water and Mate
addressed the myths elegantly and with credibility. Thanks so much for
    posting this!

what I am doing. YOU tell him. This is so interesting. I love how he has a
passion to help. I am so happy for YOUTUBE that I can be exposed to videos
like this. Thank you for the post.

@flexyco Mate is actually a Hungarian first name, in this case his last
    name!

  • TD Blasa says:

All of Gabor Mate videos are very insightful.

  • CristianKirk says:

Gabor Maté is amazing… Too bad the questions made by the interviewer are
    poor and horrible.

Dr Mate inspires me INSPIRE: 1. To affect, guide, or arouse by divine
influence. b. To breathe life into.
