What Would I Need to Do to Become a Pharmacist?

Question by Lily: What would I need to do to become a pharmacist?
I’m a junior in high school, and I’m kind of considering going down this path. I understand that it takes approximately six years but would I be applying to a four year college first or straight to a six year program? Also, what would be some options that I could consider to strengthen my application?

Would I need to be an assistant and/or a technician before I apply to pharmd school?
Would I need to take a lot of math classes in college?
