Can You Imagine the Hundreds of Millions of Dollars Spent on Illegal Drugs?

Question by Luís Santos: Can you imagine the hundreds of millions of dollars spent on illegal drugs?
Would not be better if that money was spent on legal drugs like tobacco and alcohol? If they are legal it means they are good for the consumer, am I right? Yes, why would the government allow us to buy freely those two drugs if they were bad for us?

Thanks for your opinion.
